My Third Visit in Venice, Italy
Venezia, its name in Italian is one of the many wonderful cities to visit in this world. It is a lovely place and considered as a romantic city for many due to its setting and fascinating character. The images I have below was taken during my third visit last summer 2011. My first visit was sometime in October 2005 and the second one was April 2006. I still wish to visit this city in the future to witness the famous Venice Film Festival and the Carnival of Venice.
Venice is also considered to be one of the most important tourist destination in the world considering its art, culture and architecture. Some of its sights include the Piazza San Marco (St. Mark’s Square) where the St. Mark’s Basilica is located, also a worth to see, the Grand Canal and many others.
During my first and second visit in Venice, I did not experience a Gondola ride. That is one of the reasons why I came back to Venice last year. It is one of the many ways to explore Venice especially its many canals around the city. It was fun and I truly enjoyed it.
these images were taken while we were riding a Gondola in Venice last July 2011. You can see the Ducal or Doge’s Palace on the left side of the photos here. You can also see the Campanile tower of St. Mark’s basilica on this picture.

I´ve been there once. It was too much tourists for my taste. It was hard to get those special shots.
