Remembering my Trip in Monaco
It is time to reminisce a wonderful trip I did from the past. Monaco is one of the countries I wanted to visit in Europe and it did finally happened. Over two years ago, I had the chance to visit this place. I invited some friends to go with me and I believed they also enjoyed the trip. It was actually a trip to 3 countries for 6-days and we visited some cities in France (Nice, Cannes and Menton) and Italy (Pietra Ligure, Cinque Terre with Monterosso Al Mare, Vernazza and Riomaggiore and San Remo).

Cathédrale Notre-Dame-Immaculée (Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception), also known as Saint Nicholas Cathedral, Monaco Cathedral is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Monaco in Monaco-Ville, Monaco, where many of the Grimaldis were buried, including Grace Kelly and more recently, Rainier III.

La Condamine is the second oldest district in Monaco, after Monaco-Ville. It is known for its distinctive wide harbor and moored expensive yachts.

It was only a day visit we had in Monaco but it was all worth it. I believed we did experience most of its sights including the Monaco-Ville, Palais Princier (Prince’s Palace), Monaco Cathedral including its interior, Oceanographic Museum and Aquarium (exterior only since our time was limited), a view of La Condamine, Formula 1 Grand Prix and the Grand Casino at Monte Carlo.
There are still a lot of things to do and see in Monaco and a day-visit is not enough to experience everything. Inspite of that I am still a happy visitor of this country because I finally stepped on it. If you have to ask me if I am still planning to visit there, I will surely answer a BIG YES!
Enjoy viewing some of the pictures I took during our visit last spring 2011.
Until then and take care everyone!
