That was a cool picture we had from Keukenhof. A lot of my friends in facebook were commenting to that photo. I wish to share it here but since I did not ask permission from my friends to publicize it in this blog, therefore I will not post it. It was actually taken inside the Oranje-Nassau Pavilion in Keukenhof garden near Lisse, Netherlands. One friend was holding a good great divide guitar in that photo. I was in the drummer position and another friend was also holding a guitar.
We had a nice post at the Beatles band decor inside the Oranje-Nassau pavilion in Keukenhof. (more…)

It was my dear friend’s wish to visit the famous “Garden of Europe”. I have the same wish and I always include it in my travel wishlist. And yes, my friend’s wish and mine as well finally came true. Because of her courage and enthusiasm to visit this paradise, we finally decided to go to Keukenhof.
It was a perfect timing during our visit because most of the tulips are in full bloom. One friend who visited it early in April was frustrated because the tulips were still not blooming. I believed it is the cold weather during those times.
According to the official website for the Keukenhof Park, approximately 7,000,000 (seven million) flower bulbs are planted annually in the park, which covers an area of 32 hectares. Taken during our visit last May 6, 2013 (more…)

Shopping for souvenirs is always a part of my so-called “things to do” everytime I travel. During our recent cruise in Scandinavia, I also bought some souvenirs. I am telling you guys shopping and buying for souvenirs in Norway especially in Oslo is quite expensive. A small postcard for example already costs 1.00 Euros. That is also the reason why I did not search for tatuaje in that city. I should give it to my brother but changed my mind after knowing that souvenirs in this city are so expensive.
I still brought some postcards, a fridge magnet and a sweatshirt for me and my friend. I did buy a travel guide book because it is really expensive. Shopping for souvenirs is truly good if the prices are quite fair.

I am still quite tired from our recent cruise in Scandinavia. One of the countries we visited was Norway. We had a day sightseeing in its capital city of Oslo. All I can say, it was a wonderful and memorable cruise trip full of experiences. I have a lot of things to share during that travel. For now, please bear with me as I am still having a shiplag. I cannot say jetlag because it was a cruise. lolz!
Just enjoy watching some photos during that trip. I would love to share more travel experience once I get back my shape again. Have a lovely weekend everyone!

I just mentioned in my previous post that I just came back from a trip. I am still having a jetlag at the moment. I would say I am already feeling better now. I actually get a bit sick after that trip. Thanks goodness for making me well again.
Anyway, did you notice the new lay-out of this blog? Yes, my very good friend Carlota who is an expert of making layouts and templates did this for me. I am so thankful for having a friend like her. There are sites who are designing free websites but I always ask my good friend to do it for me. I was so happy when she granted my wish. I love the way she makes layouts, simple but very elegant. To you my dear friend Carlota, I am forever grateful for all your help. Thanks a million for everything!
More sharing about my travel experiences soon! Happy weekend everyone!

Vacation is over now! I am back to reality and time to hit the net again. That was another awesome trip I had lately visiting 5 countries in Southeast Europe including Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Albania. That was quite a tiring and exhausting trip but seeing the places we visited will surely take away all of it.
One of the places we visited was Budva. This historical coastal town is considered to be Montenegro’s most popular tourist destination. Our hotel is just located some meters away from the Old Town of Budva. In fact, I can see it from my hotel room. We stayed in a 4-star hotel named Avala Resorts and Spa. I love my room there and wish I could stay longer.
Boats and yachts on the harbor of Budva, Montenegro. I always took walks in here since our hotel is located very near the Old Town and the harbor.

Only a short ferry trip across the Channel or a budget flight of a couple of hours, France is a great destination for quick getaway. Paris is one of the most capitals in the world, but for your next French holiday, why not try somewhere more rural? With miles of unspoilt countryside, ranging from green open pastures to mountainous terrain there is plenty to explore. Discover the best destinations in France for a countryside getaway, with our top picks.
Lourmarin
Located in the Provence region of France this historic area has been settled in for over one thousand years! The present village was built in the 15th century and features a renaissance palace. Small winding streets are lined with cafes and shops selling local produce and crafts. Take a walk in the beautiful surrounding countryside of Luberon for sights of olive groves, limestone hills and pockets of forest.
Beaucaire
A pretty town in the Languedoc-Rousillon region Beaucaire is surrounded by water from both the Rhone River and Canal du Rhone a Sete. 17th and 18th century townhouses are worth a look for their traditional architecture and yet more history can be found in the ruined castle which stands above the town. Take a trip outside the town and visit the Abbey of Saint-Roman for spectacular views of the Provence countryside. (more…)

I already started packing my luggage yesterday. I am partially done and will finish it this afternoon. I am thinking of buying a better luggage because its wheels is not functioning good anymore. While browsing for luggages online, I landed at www.gotbriefcases.com. Oh well, this site is fantastic. I found this Olympia Hollywood 3 Piece Luggage Set, Spinner which I believed are perfect for my travels. I also love its colors and its material. It is currently on sale. I am only saddened because my favorite color which is purple are not available anymore. (more…)

I guess I would better like it when it rains and not so cold than snow and it is really freezing cold. I don’t wonder anymore about the weather in Ireland. During my 7-day trip in that country, it seems that I am already getting use to it. Our tour guide told us that most of the times, Ireland has four seasons a day weather. One thing I love there, it is not so cold like in Germany. The perfect thing to wear in Ireland’s weather should be a good rain jacket. I am planning to buy one of these jackets in the future.

That was indeed a wonderful countryside trip! I enjoyed sitting in the bus during that trip from our 3-star hotel in Baveno, Italy to Ascona, Switzerland. I cannot complain with our hotel because that trip was really cheap. It cost 299.0 euros for a 5-day trip, including all the transportation, accommodation, sightseeing tours and breakfast and dinner. That travel was fantastic!
As our bus drove from Baveno to Ascona, I really enjoyed watching the scenery along the Lago Maggiore or Lake Maggiore. The water, hills, historic towns and cities and all the views along the our way are all beautiful. Adding to it was the perfect weather we had that day. It was already our fourth day of trip.
